To get the absolute best out of your CBD rub (balm or salve) and keep it fresh and potent, follow these simple care, storage, and application tips:
1. Protect It From Heat and Light
Keep it cool: Store your CBD rub in a cool, dry place. Excessive heat can melt the carrier oils and beeswax in the rub, ruining its texture and potentially causing the active CBD to break down. Â
Avoid direct sunlight: UV rays degrade cannabinoids and terpenes, which will quickly reduce the rub's potency. Keep the container in a dark spot like a drawer, cupboard, or medicine cabinet. Â
Never leave it in the car: Cars can get incredibly hot during the day, which will completely melt the rub and degrade the product. Â
2. Keep Air and Bacteria Out
Seal it tightly: Always screw the lid on tightly immediately after use. Limiting exposure to air prevents the natural oils from oxidizing and going rancid. Â
Avoid contamination (The Finger Rule): Instead of dipping your bare fingers directly into the tub—which can introduce bacteria and moisture—consider using a clean cosmetic spatula, a cotton swab, or the back of a clean fingernail to scoop out what you need. Â
Store away from moisture: Avoid storing your rub on damp bathroom counters or near steamy showers where excess humidity can seep into the jar and encourage mold growth. Â
3. Application Tips for Best Results
Apply after a warm shower: Your skin is cleanest and your pores are open right after a warm bath or shower, which maximizes the absorption of the CBD rub. Â
Massage it in: Rub a small amount of the balm into the targeted area using firm, circular motions. Massaging the area helps stimulate blood flow, promoting better absorption and relief. Â
Wash your hands after use: Many CBD rubs contain cooling or warming ingredients like menthol, camphor, or peppermint. Wash your hands immediately after applying to avoid accidentally getting it in your eyes or other sensitive areas. Â
Apply to intact skin only: Never use a CBD rub on open wounds, cuts, or severely irritated skin. Â
4. How to Tell if Your Rub Has Gone Bad
CBD topicals generally have a shelf life of 12 to 24 months. You should check it periodically and discard it if you notice:Â Â
 A rancid, sour, or off-putting smell. Â
Visible signs of mold or dark spots. Â
A gritty or heavily separated texture that doesn't smooth out when warmed between your hands.

Compression Gloves: Care & Fit Guide
Compression gloves are designed to provide gentle pressure, warmth, and support to help ease joint stiffness, swelling, and discomfort. To keep your gloves clean, sanitary, and working perfectly for a long time, follow these easy guidelines:
1. How to Wash Your Gloves (Keep Them Fresh)
Because compression gloves sit snugly against your skin, they will absorb natural oils and sweat over time. Regularly washing them keeps the fabric sanitary and helps "reset" the elastic fibers so they stay tight.
Hand wash is best: Gently hand wash your gloves in cool or lukewarm water.
Use mild soap: Use a small splash of mild detergent, baby shampoo, or gentle hand soap. Avoid fabric softeners or bleach, as these will permanently break down the stretchy elastic fibers (spandex/elastane) and ruin the compression.
Do not wring them out: Instead of twisting or wringing the gloves tightly (which can stretch them out of shape), gently squeeze the excess water out between a clean towel.
2. Drying Your Gloves (Protect the Elastic)
Air dry flat: Lay the gloves flat on a clean dry towel or hang them up to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
Keep away from heat: Never put your compression gloves in the tumble dryer and keep them off hot radiators. Direct heat will shrink the fabric, melt the elastic, and ruin the gloves' shape.
3. Wearing & Fit Tips
Remove jewelry first: Before pulling on your gloves, remove any rings, bracelets, or watches that might catch, snag, or tear the fabric or seams.
Take breaks: While compression gloves are fantastic for daily activities, crafting, typing, or resting, it is generally recommended to remove them for a short break every 4 to 6 hours to let your skin breathe and ensure healthy circulation.
Listen to your body: If your fingers ever feel cold, numb, or start to tingle, your gloves may be too tight. Remove them immediately and check your sizing.
